An artistic urban experience that tells the history of the city of Tel Aviv-Yafo.

We offer an urban experience that tells the history of the city of Tel Aviv-Yafo through art.

During the COVID19 pandemic when the cultural field, museums and galleries closed their gates, art became inaccessible, and the need only grew.We offer an open space experience of art and learning that allows young artists to express themselves and residents to enjoy a show which contains historical value. While the pandemic changed the meaning and definition of public space, we wish to examen new possibilities of public space as a meeting spot and as a stage for new type of culture consumption.

TELAVIVING is an audiovisual festival that uses video mapping projection technology on buildings with historical value throughout the city of Tel-Aviv Yafo.

Each monument will be historically and culturally reviewed in order to expose the viewers to the influence of time and to take an active role in shaping the form of a new type of culture.

As part of the project, an open call for young artists will be announced. The young artists shall create an audiovisual exhibit which will demonstrate the historical review, and will be projected on the chosen monuments.

The festival will be organized using an app which will offer different routes to prevent crowding. Each path will go through the chosen landmarks where the audiovisual presentations will be projected at fixed hours during the festival days.
The app will offer the visitors information about the artist and the story of the site.

We see preserving history as a supreme value and as well as making it accessible for the young generation. In the age of social networks and media there is an importance to the appearance of art and it's ability to be "Instagramic" thus will create an echo among young generation.
