This installation provides a dynamic public seating system and functions as a logic game simultaneously, inviting the public to collaborate in order to put them together and apart.
The “Logic-Seat” is a logic cube enlarged into an urban scale using a module of 50*50 cm made of plywood. When taken apart, it functions as various benches offering endless possibilities of seating but there is only one solution to the puzzle. By taking the cube together and apart the public is stimulated into cooperating in order to succeed. The "Logic-Seat" is planned to be placed in Sarona district, which is usually busy with people and does not offer enough public benches. We hope this installation will trigger meaningful interactions between people in the public space; hopefully engaging children and adults to work together, adults may ask other adults for help.
