A grandstand as a mulitfunctional tool can be used as an display and for social interaction.

Thinking about post corona art presentations which take often place inside for special kind of visitors, could force the need of a postponement from there to public places. This is a chance to confront the "art scene" with another kind of public. Therefore a mobile grandstand, like a greek theatre, shift the relation from art and public to the outside, to the common places all over the town. This multifunctional tool, can be used for exhibitons, public interactions, theatre, cinema projections, socialising, recreation a.s.o. It should invite to take part of any activity, not just from artists, as well as to encourage people to get in touch again. The grandstand changes an ordinary public place to a plattform for inter- actions. Everyone can be an actor, an artist, a viewer or a spector in anyway. The rendering on the pictures below is done by Jo Zynda, for an exhibiton concept by me suggested for the Austrian Pavillion in Venice and shows the grandstand as a tool for displaying and acting and how it changes a typical exhibiton space in a type of place where everyone is envolved it as an important part of the scenery not only as a consumer of an event. Every interaction should be accompanied by social work and art education. Every interaction should leave traces to remain there, as a documentation of everybodies existance at this place.
